"Red Umbrella" on the other hand is specifically Umbrella pre-2007, but Red or Blue it's the same company. There was also a secret underground Umbrella remnants organization led by Wesker from at least 2003-2006, but that may be Blue Umbrella's new management.

The Umbrella Corps is likely akin to the old USS/UBCS, part of the company. Since Blue Umbrella's legally prohibited from having armed forces though, the Umbrella Corps are covert & off-books. They're a "mysterious organization" in Heavenly Island & UC's promo material, while Blue's public-facing.

It should be noted there's no "Red Umbrella", that's the nickname for the old Umbrella. The red logo you see in Umbrella Corps is for the Umbrella Corps. That's even just what it's called. It's just Blue Umbrella + a secret unit.

I don't see it unless it's highlighted like that. I'd put it down to people being wired for pattern recognition even if there isn't one. Like seeing faces in wood etc.

Looking at the raw video, it doesn't really look like anything, let alone a 6. I think this may be a case of expectations coloring impressions.

For REV1, it doesn't really tie into anything else. The scene just serves to show Jessica and Raymond were working together, and we learn elsewhere they work for TRICELL. If anything it just leads toward 5, like the endings of Degeneration & Infinite Darkness.
