love chris, his x-men stuff raised me, but every time he returns, his stories never hit the same, they are everywhere in the worst way. that's the downside of being an iconic writer, everyone in the editorial team will let you write anything, without a proper check, out of respect or nostalgia

However the marvel she devils issues which is canon does in a way canonize the whole avengers academy book so I’m taking that and running with it, plus a queer book like this needs to be set in the main universe after all canon is what fans remember

Sin is an ongoing issue because of the avengers assemble volume and then cyttorak also becomes an issues but the that is what happened with digital and physical issues. Even Orlando’s astonishing avengers does conflict with the ongoing events like OWUD and Imperial.

I consider it canon since it mostly connects to previous storylines/events such as blood hunt Captain America stuff x men unlimited issues etc or current events like imperils but thereare parts that do feel semi-canon like the cyttorak plot because of stuff like 8 deaths of spider-man
