Hang on…

The Albanese Labor Govt is saying that elderly Australians have to pay more for basic at home care - as spending needs to be reigned in.

But - they give over $200b of our public money to the US & UK for submarines we’ll never see.

What a betrayal #auspol

So Doug Ford and Danielle Smith are going to build a pipeline through the fragile lowlands of James Bay to a deep water port that doesn't exist.
Ford won't build roads to reach Indigenous communities but he's going to build a pipeline so oil can be shipped to other markets.

"Australia is the 3rd biggest fossil fuel exporter in the world.

"Norway, which is also a big fossil fuel exporter, they tax their fossil fuel industry and give their kids free university education.

"In Aus, we subsidise the fossil fuel industry."

I feel like we don't often get these positive stories, just negative ones.
But there are real upsides to "agrisolar" and "agrivoltaics" that we've known about for years.

I was packing my Leyland P76 boot with chartreuse jeroboams at the Brighton East Dan Murphy's and a woman in a peach-patterned Osti frock stopped, turned and said simply, "Kazza, you'll finish that book, and it will win a non-fiction prize instead of all the nominated cookbooks".

Why the fuck is Nicky Bobby in the penalty box? This is where I don’t understand some parts of hockey (I’m still relatively new to this)

These are the same people who push to criminalize and lock up the homeless rather than provide affordable/accessible housing.

They aren't planning UBI and a nice retirement package for everyone when they don't need workers anymore.

The C-suite has made it clear their goal is to remove labor costs entirely from the profit equation.

Labor should be violently opposed to this attempt.

They don't plan on paying for people to sit around and do nothing. Labor is a useless appendage to them if they can replace it with robots and AI.
