Sen Angus King needs to step down. IMMEDIATELY. He is apparently consumed by fear and has lost his ability to be an effective member of the Legislature. He will then have plenty of time to read Article 1 and maybe learn something.

Okay Marshall. How about this? Medicare for All solves that. Don't get sick, no cost. Done. Full stop. And as a bonus, they have a 4% administrative cost compared to 20+% for most insurance companies. WIN WIN.

Correction: He probably wouldn't have won every other place he might have run, and that's okay. NYC is not the only place that wants new ideas and progressive leadership.

Tell that to the constituents who get cancer or lupus or even diabetes next year. Will he help them file for bankruptcy?

I'm done with the party.
I've done all I can, and realize that they can't be trusted to do the right thing when it is hardest to do.
I feel more disillusioned because this means that we'll never have the type of majority to pass court reform or any of the other supposed top priorities of the party.
