She was tiny - about 3kg. But the other cats respected her and she owned the ground she walked on. She'd never start a fight but wouldn't turn one down if someone pushed her.
She was 3 month old ex-feral farm cat when we got her - more work for a wonderful reward.
We still have her brother.

The British army has a hell of a lot more in common with the French and Germans than with the US. That's what 500 years of war does 😺

And Indian food was utterly different - peppercorns for heat, sweeter spices for flavour. And tamarind for the sweet/savoury tomato flavour.
Not a huge fan of excessive chilli but pretty much everything I cook has tomato in it. Thank you, south America. Love me a lycopene!

Benefit of being old - you can afford the unusual!

If I posted my failures my posting history would be a fair bit longer.. Still, as long as it's still vaguely edible, it'll be eaten. If not, we have dogs 😸

I was going to try it with jackfruit next - got some tinned spiced jackfruit chunks that looks like it'll go.

Stir fry in my house is "what's in the fridge/cupboard/veg cupboard that goes together". Sometimes I follow a recipe but even then I usually add stuff not mentioned in the recipe..
