I also figured out how to make it talk. I did not figure out how to make it. Stop talking, but I was fairly proud of both of these achievements.

Some weeks ago jacksepticeye had a game jam and I wanted to try to participate. I knew I hadn't learned enough Godot to use that but I thought maybe I knew enough Markdown to use Twine...

... I absolutely didn't, but by the end I was able to make an ASCII skull appear. Which I think is pretty cool.

Happy foliage season from New England!

It's been a rough stint this year with the early leaf change and all the wind. But our town common had some pretty good representation this morning. And hey, bonus Stephen King style small New England Church!

If I put all my resin supplies in a cool container so they're all in one place it will make me more likely to actually work on it and get the stuff done I want to get done, right?
...
RIGHT?!?

I don't art well at all but I found this little dice wizard to inspiringly adorable to not give this a try. So BEHOLD!

"The Glum Guard"!

He's not happy about somthin'.
Or maybe everythin'.
His catchphrase is incoherent mutinous grumbling.

My son wanted a Kirby Birthday so we made Kirby cupcakes. They turned out pretty well I think. They ran a bit in the heat, but they were good enough for one of the other kids to 'Hannibal Lecter' one so I think that's a vote in favor, no?

Oooooooooh, THAT'S why it's the worst browser! I thought it was just a near total lack of innovation while the company sat on its OS laurels for decades. Good to know they made an active choice to be terrible.

One of our local Town fairs is this weekend so two of the kids made clay figures to submit for judging. They're both very proud of how realistic they made the rock parts look and I have to say, they do look like real rocks. We'll find out where they placed on Saturday I think.

I kind of love how The many tendrilled beast that is Halloween decorations has stretched its tentacles into some really niche corners and produced some super targeted Halloween decorations. I feel like just a few years ago things like this would have been but a fevered dream. It's great.

Remember Big O? The...anime? Cartoon? Never have I enjoyed something so amazing and confusing in equal measure that had no intention of giving me any answers but kept me entertained 100% of the time. I wonder if it's streams anywhere...

QRT with art of powerful women.

I don't art so this one's not mine, but this is what I thought of the second I saw that badass Daisy.

Oh WOW! I not only forgot that I had this, I forgot this even existed! Very cool! I can't wait to try this out with my kids.

A bear has twice destroyed our chicken coop and decimated our chicken flock. So today I went and got the pieces to put up an electric fence to hopefully stop that from happening a third time. I need to remove the old non-electric fence that a tree fell on first. Lots of cutting to do...

The painting eventually ended up in the Tate Gallery where Freddie Mercury would become obsessed with it and by some accounts drag the band to stare at it nearly everyday.

While at State Criminal Lunatic Asylum of Bethlem Royal Hospital, he was encouraged to continue painting. Among the works he produced was "The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke" which he worked on for 9 years, leaving it unfinished at the time of his transfer to Broadmoor.

After a long journey abroad, Dodd began showing signs of having an 'unsound mind' (hypothesized now to be paranoid schizophrenia). After murdering his father (He seems to have thought his father was the devil) He was sent to a 'criminal lunatic asylum', eventually moving to the infamous Broadmoor.

Come with me friends, on a journey spanning the arts:

This is the British painter Richard Dadd. He trained at the illustrious Royal Academy Art Schools and was known for his use of minuscule detail in his art pieces.

My 18-month-old put together two duplo blocks and (while I'm willing to admit that I might be somewhat biased in the matter) appears to have designed something WAY cooler looking than the Cybertruck.
