you can be 100% certain, but this doesn’t mean you are correct (I often am certain and wrong). They also need to consider what ‘works’ means - i.e. relative to base rate, correctly identifies more cancers than false alarms.

Psychological interventions (different to psychiatric) are valuable in helping people with ME but that does not imply that ME is an imaginary disease, any more than depression or anxiety.

I find the phrase ‘just all in our head’ quite denigrating and dismissive of mental health issues which are very real and debilitating illnesses.
