Another hot take: Superman of the 1930s is Jewish.
HOWEVER… a ton of the Superman mythos was added to by Curt Swan (and others including the radio show) in the 40s/50s which transformed the character from the original vision of Siegel and Shuster.

Superman is a lapsed Methodist.
The guy grew up in SMALLVILLE so his parents clearly grew up being taken to church. He listened to POD which is not really CCM but it is adjacent.
That being said… he is not Evangelical. Clearly. If you look at Kansas’ religious demographics that leaves Methodist.
