It's just a local special election, but it feels different now. People have fought and died for this right. Now I understand why. This ballot arrived on No Kings Day. That, too, seems significant. I am voting early. Who knows what tomorrow holds?

Interesting that the day after the No Kings rally this Tie-Runt demolishes part of the white house that was constructed the last time this country was fighting a bloviated, fascist, autocrat with a bad hair cut. I'm not enjoying this time line.

This is my uncle, Dan. He was a B-17 pilot. I never got to meet him because he died in 1944. He was 20 years old, fighting fascists. He was ANTIFA.

I think he's going to be OK. His surgery was successful and his prognosis is good.

Tried to get a picture of the lovely "flaming" on my Dove. This is by far the prettiest looking and sounding guitar I have ever played. It's difficult to capture. This is a pretty good shot of it glowing in the rising sun light here in central WA on my last day of vacation.
