I have daily student office hours M-F with a virtual link. I now only respond to student emails during student office hours. They can email me, come to my campus, or join on the virtual meeting. They get support every day but on a schedule. This helps manage their expectations and my time.

Another thing I require is that all sources have to be accessed and available via our uni online library. (Also helps the library keep resources as students are using the resources.)

Recently I posted on FB that I need a 'brain partner' - someone who gets me, will reasonably talk with me about my crazy ideas without shooting me down or cheerleading me on understands my logic AND my heart - and someone recommended I use ChatGP. 10000% no. 🤢🤮
