Trump's response that Putin has gone 'crazy' with his latest attacks on Kyiv is very worrying. Putin can't easily back down unless pressed but feels Trump's weak response means he can act without repercussions. Trump's blowhard vacilation of bravado, boastfulness and cowardice endangers us all.

A billion pounds guarantees an income of well over £5m a year. Who can spend that!
There are no tax benefits to the wealthy in buying up chippies and corner shops.
Disappointed to hear Ed Davey using the term Family Farm Tax to describe the very favourable IHT terms available to agricultural land. There are lots of small family run businesses in the UK, chippies, corner shops etc, they aren't exempt from IHT and don't have favourable terms.

As Trump tries to scrub facts and information from US government websites, social media will finally start to come into its own by allowing ordinary people to spread the truth and discuss its implications.
Thanks for sharing again @bylines.scot - I must admit when I wrote this, little did I realise how fiercely the #DEI debate would become with Trumps outrageous insinuations - We do need to restate the purpose of initiatives as I set out but in USA for sure they’re fighting a more fundamental battle.
This was very timely this week...

As Trump tries to scrub facts and information from US government websites, social media will finally start to come into its own by allowing ordinary people to spread the truth and discuss its implications.
Perhaps someone should ask the Mogg why, if union members are so greedy, do he and his lucky ilk have loads-a-money whilst most workers are struggling to make ends meet. Joining a union just means it's more likely you'll have decent working conditions, including pay that might cover the bills.
