This is not about budget-cutting. The previous administration had only committed a paltry $1.5 million to support the Technical Support Unit's work for the @ipcc.bsky.social.

U.S.'s influence on #climatescience is weakened, making us more vulnerable to extreme weather, wildfires, air pollution, heat waves, flooding. We forfeit economic opportunities in climate innovation, further ceding ground to countries like China, which have long embraced clean tech manufacturing.
