Kerr county water disaster. The first four speakers that appeared were the governor it Texas, the US homeland security director, one US senator from Texas and one US congressman from Texas, none of whom lived in Kerr county. He was the one of them that lived in Kerr county! Sad!

Got lunch ready, using a sliced garden tomato, made a BLT, wrapped with plastic to keep it fresh till lunchtime.

Kitchen prep work finally finished today. Omelette tomorrow will have a chopped Swiss chard leaf.

Took an hour to chop the jalapeño peppers, made about 1 cup. Next sliced enough green tomatoes to make 3 cups, for another green tomato pie. Stopped to chop avocados, onion, ripe tomatoes, and cilantro for guacamole.
