There are plenty of books in my library that I don't like or find offensive.
That's good. A good library has something to offend anyone.
The point is free access to information, not "censorship so you can hate on trans kids"

Context: my library is running a levy renewal
Some people are mad because we have 33 "transgender books" in our children's collection of 60,000+
They want to "take away our funding so staff who do not respect the values of the majority of parents in my town will have to leave"
