I’ve enjoyed this respectful differing in views and perspectives. This really is nicer than Twitter. Thanks :)

Interesting. Whilst I don’t expect to walk into a job, as a working mum this puts me off big time. I’ve hired people that are great at interviews but then it doesn’t work out . The whole point of a probation period is to figure out the fit and at least pay the person while you do.

Hey Jason how do I list my events on there?

It’s a big red flag to me. That’s free work you’re getting there. Even if some of the steps are straightforward, it’s 5 occasions you need to take time away from your existing job, right?

P.S. I don’t come on the internet to moan all the time, I’m just *shook* by this 🙃🙃

Hey! I remember product coffee 😊. I think I’m gonna do it monthly at the same place in Leeds city centre. Not sure when but I’ll post it on here.

The seating is velvet and adds to the richness of the darkness in the room.

Her slide shows this text:

Here’s my attempt for the pic above in parts (character limits 😊):
An audience member’s perspective of Lola Odelola’s talk on using more poetic language in Alt text for screen readers. The view shows a plush cinema surrounded by darkness except for the large cinema screen projecting Lola’s slides.
