Only place I can think of outside of Draw Steel that didn’t have the “filthy and evil” kind of rat people is Pathfinder, and even there they have the same sort of moral and hygiene variance that humans have.

I was considering something similar for Cyberpunk Red if it seems like something someone with X ranks in the relevant skill would have the experience to just notice right away.

I mean a good chunk of Dispatch’s dev team was from Telltale (also I would’ve mentioned it but I hit the character limit). Didn’t know Deltarune did it, though.

Does make me wonder why that episodic release game model from… Christ probably over twenty years ago now never went anywhere. Valve tried it, there was at least one other shooter that tried it but gave up after the first episode, Telltale seem to be the only ones who managed it.

Yeah, SoM was never gonna get a direct remaster like what they did for G&G or are doing for Dark Archive, there's a solid chunk of the lore chapters that's tied to the old OGL spell schools that can't be reused now. That and other SoM content's been Remastered elsewhere already (like the Runelord).

You’re trying your best on that front at least, all we can really ask for these days until the AI bubble finally bursts.
Or at least until someone sets up a stock images service that doesn’t just ban AI images but actually *fines* people who submit any (probably have to be that harsh these days).

The effort still shows and we appreciate it. Just don’t give in to the urge to use GenAI to make them; half the reason we love your videos is because we can tell how much work you put in and you’re taking the time and effort to make the video the best it can be. That passion is the important part.

… so WotC’s legal team has less to latch onto if they get grabby again. Apparently they would’ve gone for a smoother and more gradual transition with this retcon but they didn’t have the time.

I do like how Paizo went with dark purple for them in Pathfinder, though thanks to the OGL Fiasco PF drow are being retconned - there are still purple skinned underground elves but they’re just normal elves now, the whole “drow” thing is being turned into an in-universe conspiracy theory… 1/2
