How do you figure out who is a scammer vs who is legit?

I guess it depends on the church. My mother was a church receptionist for years and she said she didn’t get requests like that all the time, certainly not like other people are saying. But maybe other churches get requests more often, I don’t know.

I watched the video for this specific church, I would have believed her. I don’t think it screamed obvious scam at all.

Honestly, I do wish the church receptionist had done more. Not “here’s a blank cheque”, but more like “give me your number, let me call around on your behalf”.

In the video, she tells the woman what the hours are.

It even has a LEGO Spot!

Ewwwww. And now I'm having flashbacks to when I was first pregnant and my boss would microwave tuna in the office everyday. 🤢
