This mf knows that without those 7 votes ICE wouldn't get an additional goddamn dime.

Hakeem Jeffries is playing in your face. You're too fucking stupid to know it.

Personally, I don't think we should to accept the learned helplessness exhibited by very powerful people when they already have the means to stop this.

And I do not think you do not promote people who flap their hands, whine, and do nothing during a crisis. You replace them.

He also didn't whip caucus votes, which is why 7 Democrats voted for ICE.

So, at a minimum, he could start by doing his damn job.

Impeach and prosecute Pam Bondi. (And initiate disbarment investigations.)

No one wants a shutdown, least of all a deeply unpopular regime.

But if used correctly, it works. You're not just hurting government workers, you're also hurting contractors and suppliers, donors, and voters. They, in turn, ratchet the pressure up on Republicans. And you start in a stronger spot.

The secret police nabbing kids is slightly kinder than forcing the school nurse and principal to walk them into a detention facility. Christ.

Worth noting that Gov. Parson kicked kids off Medicaid AND rejected federal funding for summer lunch programs for kids while in office.

But I'm sure his newfound concern for the state's neediest is entirely sincere and not poorly concealed corruption.

"Like, shit's terrible ..." (continues to shrug for the next minute while acting like a wastoid you knew in high school or college)

Vote Blue No Matter Who, though. Right?

Today could be the day.
January 28, 2026 at 6:21 PM
Yeah, that's not nearly enough. We need investigations, prosecutions, and serious prison time. Do not let them slink quietly away. There must be consequences or they'll keep pulling this crap until it sticks.

Don't hold your breath. Chuck Schumer is going to help push this through so he can go back to talking about the cost of health care (which he also caved on).

Just watch.

Impeach and prosecute Kristi Noem. Abolish ICE.

Demonstrate Democrats will do something besides sweep this under the rug.

The original column was a bad faith argument made a person acting in bad faith. Nothing more.

I would expect a murderous, trigger-happy fucker to wear a bullet-proof vest that actually fits.

What with occupational hazards being what they are for a professional dipshit.

Its a mistake to think all racists are "poor whites." There are plenty of middle to upper class bigots in the state. And they are rural, urban, and suburban.
January 22, 2026 at 2:53 PM
In a nutshell, Obama's election really dialed up the rascism/racial resentment which fueled the wild conspiracy theories which was exploited by the GOP and a few billionaires. The state really went off the rails, politically.

Theres more to it, but that's the gist.
January 22, 2026 at 2:48 PM
Obama. I honestly think that's about 80 percent of it.

There's not enough hate for Brad Pitt. Also, Daniel Day-Lewis.
