My kids and I were recently introduced to Georgian food at a restaurant here in Toronto. We were all blown away by how delectable it is and have made Georgian take-out a weekly ritual.

16 year old me, when I was young and foolish. Now much older and more foolish.

In your picture you look almost elven, but sadly so. On your way to the Grey Havens.

Looks like you have been having a fabulous time. Glad to see it. Especially envious that you will get to see AN live. Enjoy!

My son, daughter and I saw them a couple of years ago: O&O is one of all our favourite albums of all time. Fantastic show.

-12 C here, but there is snow with some more on its way this week. As tired of the winter as I get by March or so, I would miss it.

Sigh of relief. I was afraid the list might go a bit too far IMHO by pointing to a chocolate fondue fountain shaped like the Matterhorn. Doable only as a lesser peak.

Thanks for reminding me of his music. It has been too long since I listened to it.

Für Alina is gorgeous. So much breathtakingly, haunting music from him. I tend to gravitate towards his choral music (The Deer's Cry) and songs (Vater Unser). His perfectly placed pauses - where the preceding notes just hang over the silence - are magical.

For me, his Te Deum was a frequent point of repose.

But this is reassuring if you are watching from the Great White North and actually have to think about the possibility of hostile US military operations. Fantastic choice! Unfortunately, the PRC probably thinks so too.
