16 year old me, when I was young and foolish. Now much older and more foolish.

In your picture you look almost elven, but sadly so. On your way to the Grey Havens.

I miss riding into work, and rural rides on weekend mornings.

I really like the colour. It reminds me of the colour of natural high carbon steel, which I think is a thing of great beauty (and plays too large of a role in my home decorating choices for my kids' tastes).

One of my all time favourite units. I painted them up for a few years later.

🍁 CANADA 🍁! The second Trump presidency is already underlining how vulnerable we are because of our over-reliance on access to the US market. TIME FOR A NEW COURSE: let's enter something like Norway's EEA agreement with the EU. And let's start sending LNG to Europe! 🍁+ 🗼✅

Blowing, blustery snow here most of the day. Made for a beautiful twilight view from my work window. Dark hulking skyscrapers lost in swirls of gray. The aftermath is pretty too. Love winter twilights.

The Perce rock (very well known in the French speaking world, thanks in part to Tintin!). Fabulous place to go whale watching.

One of my favourite places is Gaspe. Peninsula jutting out into the Gulf of St. Lawrence, mainly covered in mountains and forest with a thin necklace of fishing villages in river mouths along the coast. Drove around it with my kids a few years ago. Toronto and back: about 35 hours of driving.

Super cool! Ours is blue/grey. We named her "Chariot of the Gods", but sometimes we refer to her as our Viking longship.

My youngest would give 2 👍. She insisted that we keep our violet Christmas lights up all year. In this instance, they are diffused by a spring mist.
