I also want to highlight this point from his Reddit post, where he admits that he sees LGBT rights as an acceptable loss if it means protecting the economy, and refuses to apologize for holding this position. He will support people who want us put in conversion camps if it means lower taxes.

It's not entirely bad. The voice cast is pretty great and the animation is gorgeous. They also do some cute visual gags that would've been harder to convey in the manga.

Important addition from my friend: It's even MORE goofy in the anime because Astolfo doesn't even put him in a bag or sheet or anything. He's just outright carrying a homunculus on the shoulder while saying he hasn't seen any missing homunculi recently.

The Treasures of Ruin in Pokemon are so funny. All of their lore/descriptions are like "These things are HORRIFIC DEMONS made of PURE MALICE AND HATRED and they can EFFORTLESSLY KILL YOU so if you see them you should RUN THE HELL AWAY"
