Falcon arrived, too. This is the ESB version. Pen for scale. My goal here is not to use a single sticker. Because there is no way any sticker that small actually stays down. My painting skills aren't amazing, but whatever I end up with will surely look nicer than nonstick stickers, right?

Well, I know I'm falling into a hole because I saw too much grey and went "I can make that prettier." I've since cleaned the spills up. For simple detailing like this, it's still better to use the Poscas over paint. #Gunpla

Good thing the shadows from the v-fin, natural lighting, and... y'know, just the average person's less than perfect vision, any imperfections on the vulcans won't be noticeable. Hell, I had my magnifying glass out and I didn't see what the camera caught. Better than leaving them white! #Gunpla

Also, you get stickers for the soles of the feet. Covers the line between the claws and the foot itself but also the underside of the claws are hollow and this hides that. You will NEVER see this since it'll always be standing. Fun little detail anyway.

The kit almost has to stand bow-legged because the ankles have basically no give to them, there's almost zero front/back movement other than a bit of toe-tilt, and the aforementioned 'legs fall out nonstop' problem made everything even worse. Just a real letdown for my 1st full kit. #Gunpla

It is physically impossible to make that kit hold the rifle in both arms. They are too stubby and with the Aliens-smart-gun style swivel attached to the front, the range of motion is severely limited. I genuinely don't know how they broke their promo-photo model to achieve those poses. #Gunpla

I would call this kit dogshit, but it might be an actual insult to literal dog shit. The arms fall apart, the legs fall off, it can barely stand up without falling over - and that's without the rifle - and it can't do any poses in the manual except this, and this took minutes of work. 0/10. #Gunpla

We've had this about as long as we've been in the hobby. Gwen figured one day, when she got an airbrush, she could get to it. Well, we don't have an airbrush, but we/I do wanna get better at hand painting. I feel like this is my first actual skill check. I'm nervous but excited to get started.

This argument also works for literally any other group these supposed people of god are raging at. If your god's perfect and has a plan for everyone, then his plan was for me to be be both trans and a gamer. But they get real mad if you use their logic against them! 🤔

Well, she's as complete as she can be. I didn't find the Delpi Decal set to be very good. They went on fine, but the sheet was tiny. Too tiny to cut out the smaller secondary decals. The result is a fairly empty kit. I did what I could with what I had, though. Hopefully I can topcoat soon. #Gunpla
