Apologies for the quiet! My attention has been focused towards a traditional art event I have coming up in Sept. Not to mention, this current heatwave makes it impossible to work upstairs in my craft room. Fur work will resume with "extra furver" mid-Sept after the event. 🐶🌡️

Playing around with some (very) rough sketches to help me envisage how to build up these sonas around a head. 🤔
Translating these into foam and fur will be another kettle of fish, but I'm excited to be creating my own designs that will hopefully reflect me as a maker! 🤩

Took a bit longer than I expected, and adapted a pattern from @sonstafurs.bsky.social to make the paws asymmetric so that they would have more comfortable thumb positioning.

Each piece is custom-designed, sculpted in polymer clay and epoxy clay in a "rustic metalwork" style and hand-painted to match the aesthetic of the existing buckle or tie hardware. Finished with a protective seal for durability.
