I did tear up a few times yeah. I'm still stewing over the story as I think I enjoyed it...about 80%? I can't go into specifics without spoiling so I won't but it did get me a couple times, yeah.

Which is also an interesting thought because admitting that something you grew up with as retro is the same as saying you're old in some people's eyes, so I can see the logic there too.

I think it's interesting how "retro" is almost a subjective idea as opposed to an objective concept. If you follow the objective line, Wind Waker is retro no matter how well it's stylized because it's over 20 years old now.
My bf thinks people delude themselves bc they don't want to say theyre old.
