I usually do chores or play a game that doesn't require audio in the background. I also often take breaks and don't force myself to listen to it all at once if I'm not feeling it.

These looks great! Is your artist open for commissions?
October 9, 2025 at 8:31 PM
Hey, I'm trying to shoot you a message about a commission but Bluesky says I can't. Feel free to message me.

They granted one-time Advantage and Disadvantage to rolls. We eventually realized it would take up less space just to use ADV and DIS instead of explaining Bane and Boon.

We came up with that in early Dungeon World 2 pre-Alpha design, but didn't end up keeping the mechanic.

I'm personally really enjoying it, without caveats. The core movement and combat system is a huge improvement, and fights are harder and a bit less frequent. To me it feels a bit more like Sekiro, where it's challenging but mastery feels amazing.

If Hollow Knight is similar to Dark Souls, then Silksong reminds me of Sekiro in many small ways, including the difficulty debate.

Nice job! I think I ended up with the same ending, then looked up the rest after.

Hard agree. That is why I DNF the game the first time. Second time around I waited till the *very* end to attempt the dream bosses and it helped. The game still feels like a chore by end game though, no matter how pretty it is.

36. I also saw Superman in July. Despite some of the humor, I did like the movie a lot. Furthermore, some moments and lines in it have stuck with me for quite a while after which is rare.

35. I saw Fantastic Four last month. While the visual style of the movie is solid, I didn't feel actually connected to the characters, and overall didn't enjoy my time with it.

34. Finished season 1 of Wednesday. I really enjoyed the season, but the final episode suddenly felt like people started holding the idiot ball, where they managed to avoid that feeling for all previous episodes. Even in retrospect some of the mystery doesn't quite make sense. Still a good show.

I actually used a google spreadsheet, which I quickly filled up.

Xenoblade 1 and 2 at their ends both said "here is the truth of how the world got to be the way that it was". Xenoblade 3 didn't really have a similar big reveal to me. Also, I don't know if it's ever clear whether the decade-old soldiers die naturally or are always executed. And Origin confuses me.

Looks amazing. Will it be going up on Nebula?
