Building up the people who are capable of attending the party is of paramount importance.

Ensuring people come out the other side ready to reintegrate with society starts by making prison about reform, not punishment. It should be a place where violence is not tolerated, where learning is encouraged, and healthy emotional habits are developed with the help of trained professionals.

It is ultimately up to the courts to decide what is constitutional, and they sure have made some terrible and atrocious rulings at times that I would consider to absolutely be unconstitutional. But my opinion has no legal weight, only a judge has that power.
