The Republicans are gonna fundamentally change how Higher Education is funded and how people pay back student loans - or more precisely keeping new borrowers trapped in student loan debt.

Education was the number one area where Americans want the government to spend more, AP/NORC poll found earlier this year. Again, oops! Elected the wrong people.

Education leads the list of aresa where the public thinks the government should spend more money, followed by health care, social security and infrastructure. 65% said the govt spendings too little on education and only 12% said it spends too much.
