The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

My family keep telling me stories of when Idi Amin came to power in 1970s Uganda. Almost one believed it because it happened so fast. People were being abducted from their offices, from their operating theatres and their university accommodation, never to be seen again. It happened overnight.

Ok sure, eggs are more expensive and inflation isn’t lowering, but at least they cut the funding for childhood cancer research, stopped monitoring Bird flu, shutdown Medicaid, stripped hungry kids of their school lunches and took hot meals away from seniors

The Department of Veterans Affairs has CANCELED SUICIDE PREVENTION program because it includes considerations for the LGBTQ+ community. Currently lose average 22 veterans every day to suicide. Last night Medicaid, SNAP, HeadStart were canceled. I know flooding us is a tactic. What is the resistance?
