Emeryville is getting ready to paint red curbs at every intersection & crosswalk around town where they don’t exist already, to highlight AB413 “daylighting” parking prohibitions in effect since 2024.
I’m sure some will still complain but I appreciate the good faith comms ahead of any ticketing.

I was the Mario Kart World Moo Moo Meadows cow riding the boombox bike for Halloween! The bike is built from wood using a minibike frame as scaffolding. Everything on the bike works: Speakers play, buttons control play/pause and mode, and the cassette door is actually a Switch 2 dock with video out!

In 4.0.1, they changed these values to be way smoother. Mapped onto a chart, you can see that it takes a lot to drop from 5 to 0 bars. It’s harder to see 5 bars, but it’s harder to plummet bars.

I put NiMH batteries in everything by default. I hate cleaning out corroded alkaline crud so much, the cost is worth it, even for things used infrequently. The only thing I use alkaline batteries for is smoke detectors.
