I do believe that Nell and Chris tried to talk Mel and Martell through their marital issues, but that’s it. A mentor or counselor wouldn’t have sat there while Martell berated & verbally abused his wife w/o intervening. Chris just sat there looking stupid & staring into space. #LAMH

Let me also say that Mel and Nell had a friendship. I don’t classify their relationship as that of a mentor and mentee because Nell cried and shared her marital and family woes with Mel. Does that mean that Mel was her mentor? Absolutely not. They were friends who leaned on each other. #LAMH
