FCC Chair Brendan Carr is clearly committed to weaponize the 'news distortion' standard by aligning the definition of "public interest" with protecting however the Trump administration wants media to portray its actions. Just a total subversion of defending the First Amendment and press freedom.

...argument to defend they are just "another regular" player in the streaming market (following Google's playbook in the search market): that we should look outside of subscription services and include mostly **free** video platforms (YouTube, Facebook and TikTok).
