Let's talk photography. Yesterday, I decided to use one of my possibly last days in Munich, to go and experiment with my Wild Pastel LUT. All the photos were directly with the LUT applied. I used the HARD settings, where I would have probably benefited more […]

If I've accidentally invented a way to turn people's Notion exports into beautifully laid out e-books (that also look great in print), would anyone bother to use it?

Asking for a friend 👀

Stop calling it a Rust issue, OK?

It's an error caused by human negligence and miscommunication.

Like most bugs.

End of story.

They are both looking for the same thing: cheap dopamine.

It's amazing how such an old and dusty Mac app can be so effective in keeping you away from doomscroll black holes. It does so well, because it blocks them at the system's hosts level.

A 10/10 recommendation!

Finally, someone who’d talk about the (few) beauties of having #adhd, not just about how freaking tough it is to live with a mind split in a thousand directions.

For times like these, when you'd think the world is going nowhere, I've set up this @feedle #rss feed search. There is so much going on in health, but we are so deep in 💩reading about politics that we don't even notice it.

I am adding more feeds here from other #science disciplines as well.

Sometimes, I think it's not worth it to keep writing this draft. I'm just way too harsh to Python, and it probably doesn't deserve it.

Updating to the latest version of #macos Sequoia (15.7.1) rendered my favorite keyboard useless. It's one of the longish USB keyboards that came with iMacs around 2010-2011. I never got along with the slimmer versions.

Why would it even stop working? It's a […]

Turns out that all those mega-clusters are Rust projects. And, I am not even writing Rust, just have been trying things out over time. Does anyone have any idea why they take so much space? I checked the singled out squares, and most of them seem to be some […]

Believe it or not, but my faithful #mac 's disk is almost empty. That's what you get when you work on a gazillion software projects all at once.

This is where I found a tool called GrandPerspective super helpful. It helped me create a tree map of my Projects […]

If you are in Germany (EU shipping is also an option), you can consider buying the #supernote Nomad A6x2, I bought back in September. I had to acknowledge that the device just isn't for me, but can perfectly suit anyone else.

At the price of EUR 350 for the […]

I wasn't planning on shamelessly self-promoting the book draft I’m working on in my spare time, but the #aws outage gave me no choice. The opportunity simply presented itself :)

P.S. drop your email here, so I can get back to you, if this thing ever sees the […]

In case anyone is wondering how to install Android APK bundles (.apkm) on a Supernote, you can easily do it using an auxiliary app called APK Mirror Installer. First, you sideload the Installer, then you can simply drop .apk or .apkm files in the INBOX folder […]

I mean, there is an official MJML JS compiler? Why did you need another version of it? Just call it from your Go app. Like, how slow can it be?

Very, very, very .... slow

Which is one of the reasons I created gomjml: https://github.com/preslavrachev/gomjml

Do you also, sometimes, have this uneasy feeling when you get your photos out of your camera, and there are absolutely ZERO edits you want to do to them?

Like, social pressure wants you to turn the RAW files upside down, but to your subjective eye, the JPEGs […]

I want to be more mindful of my Claude Code usage throughout the day. So, I've put together a quick toolbar app thanks xbar and a Claude utill called ccusage.
