I love that he and Angela Davis were both UC Santa Cruz professors at the same time and always wondered what a conversation between the two of them might be like!

I met Jello Biafra once. He was super cool and down to earth but it was weird hearing him talk exactly how you always hear him talk, only about just normal stuff!

Gosh, I feel old -- I remember the original round of preservation of the neighborhood in the 1980's. These beautiful buildings looked so sad at the beginning and it was great to see them restored to their original beauty. Hard to believe all that greenery is in Downtown Oakland!
