I’ve been toying with supplementing the 2014 rules by adding weapon mastery as a standalone system tied to the weapons themselves. It does end up encouraging everyone to carry an arsenal to have different effects available, but it definitely expands the options for most martials.

The Air is definitely half of a foldable iPhone 18. It’ll be $2k, but it will also replace a couple of devices for me.

Frankly, I think D&D could use to halve the number of character levels. Harmonizing character level and spell level for full casters would alleviate a lot of new player confusion.

Also, as a person who DMed a 165-session, 1-20 campaign, some of those level-ups just didn’t feel worthwhile.
