#Sooperbooks is a great free resource. Lots of books (we looked at the fairy tales for this lesson) all for free. They have audio book versions (paid subscription) and I wish I could get a school subscription for it #education #story #ks1 #teaching #teachingtips #stories

Won't name the phonic scheme but the book for this week's sound had 12 "ir" words to 162 other words. That isn't too bad if half of the 12 "ir" words weren't names, like the most popular "ir" word Dirk. Not sure how this book passed the sniff test #education #phonics #primaryteacher
