Can the Alberta Gov't be sued by Elections Alberta for the funds required to fulfil its mandate? Surely funds need to be made available in order for Elections Alberta to adequately uphold existing Provincial laws and to protect the electoral process.

Let's play another game. How many days until the UCP tries to slam a spoke into this wheel to put a stop to it? If they do, they will be putting another nail in their own coffin as they'll never be able to claim they're on the side of freedom. Wouldn't need to worry if they were a responsible Gov't.

My fear is that the UCP will indeed try to alter/repeal the recall law ASAP if they believe it may result in them losing MLAs. They have only a slim majority now, and one of those recall attempts is aimed squarely at Danielle Smith. #ABpoli #ABleg

We don't know the wording or sense of this apology! Was it, for instance "We see that you were upset by the ad, and we are sorry about that"? Much different than "We should never have run the ad because it was inaccurate".
