Retired teacher. I am excited to join the school board. Never ran for anything. I was taught how to run by a Fr in college active in politics (Dem). He knew his stuff and I followed the homework. Knocking on doors was fun and rewarding.

Wheat today $4.62. 40 years ago I was excited when wheat rose to $5. However, green wheat waving is mesmerizingly beautiful.

Just looking at grains tank again. The market was up a few days ago, but the uncertainty gives such wild swings. And a picture of an iris just for tranquility.

I workout in the early morning- 2 mile walk, weights my PT mapped out for me. But…nothing is as exhausting as weeding, tilling, and planting. I need a beer.

My husband & I farm. So when he is doing errands in town during lunch I do not fix much. But today I yearned for the childhood peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwich.
