I feel the results of the turn can be bad for the player, but the choices available to the player should have the potential to be good or bad for the player’s position.

The trick comes when the result of turn three comes from the decision on turn one. Can the design help the player from themselves

Really enjoyed the story. Trying to find a niche that tech cannot do better is a struggle.

Nightmare chess is a lot of fun.

At this point in the political discourse, moderates are siding with the oppressors. If you can watch the rule of law be systematically destroyed and not stand against it, you are part of the problem

This is an abomination.

The bonus panel is a great origin story.

It’s a problem in tabletop RPGs too. It encourages players to attack instead of looking for diplomatic solutions.

Maybe I am too old school but we used to make our maps. Or we would get posters or cloth maps.
Mapping was a challenge of its own to see if you could find where hidden stuff might be.

It’s not just the stopping thinking, it’s the sheer amount of resources being used to statistically assemble crappy sentences

It’s a team of experts who have their work interspersed with internet ramblings and then throwing darts at words to make sentences.

I prefer the imperial barrel measure for humor. Forty-two gallons was the Richard III standard measure or 159 liters. 5.25 bushels if your humor is dry

Funny, but implies humans are not venal enough to do this to ourselves.

A statistical model is no basis for having a conversation.

A valid conversation requires thinking entities engaging in a sharing of ideas.

If you need this list instead of believing the dozens of victims, the reports on his behavior, and his own admission to entering changing rooms of children, then you are part of the problem enabling pedophiles

Does it work on inorganic material? Just how far into the digestive system does it need to be?

Here’s the more important question. Have there been any positive ROI outcomes from companies adopting LLM systems. I know Bank of America was touting 17k programmers using LLM technology in their earnings call but didn’t talk about the ROI for that yet.
