Tierra Walker should still be alive today.

Abortion bans are cruel and deadly, and "exceptions" don't keep people safe.
NEW: ProPublica has found multiple cases of women with underlying health conditions who died when they couldn’t access abortions.

Tierra Walker, a 37-year-old mother, was told by doctors there was no emergency before preeclampsia killed her.

Walker is one of several women ProPublica found with underlying health conditions who died when they couldn’t access abortions.

The Trump admin is using the shutdown to make it harder for people to get reproductive health care.

They are working to fire the staff that oversees the Title X program, which helps provide affordable birth control, cancer screenings, and other reproductive health care across the country.

Birth control is a core component of reproductive freedom. Affordable access to a full range of methods should be non-negotiable.
