Anyways, thank you @planetmenace.com, @nathalylace.bsky.social, and @maverickexe.bsky.social for your time working with me and helping me become who I am.

Time spent working with @weaselrfu.bsky.social and others showed me that I could help people with their technical needs in a way that was useful! My friends supported my push into computer repair, and I was able to transition to corporate IT support from there. So here I am, fixing IT problems daily

I have been able to find some of what I would call my target home, but I'm torn on location. Ultimately the further out I go the less costly stuff is, but everything that's a convenient drive to work is expensive. Besides Detroit proper.

I think that trying to merge genres like that also doesn't reflect the basis of genre; that is to say, genre is kind of best evaluated post-release; the first metal bands were not making metal music, etc. Radio Format =\= archetype. That being said I see the value in picking a few yardsticks.

This is one reason I'm glad my group doesn't do categories in the traditional sense. I would rather put myself into the headspace of the video wherever it takes us rather than try to evaluate it against a super arbitrary genre tag.
