It’s also weird because there’s been research for like 30 years showing that cultural elites and those with more education tend to be more omnivorous with consumption practices. So the meaningful markers of different consumption practices doesn’t match up entirely with economic class

I guess the idea is that 25 year olds don’t know “how politics work” and how to “get shit done” and my response to that would be what about our current situation in 2025 indicates that 80 year old democrats in congress for 30 years know how to “get shit done”?
