That one has a rate per 10 million.
There is a full list for kilings for both UK and US, but the UK has one list, while the US has a per month list. E.g., en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...

So a senate seat for Greenland? Or are they imagining that Greenlanders will just decide to be a colony like the Virigin Islands? This is all just too stupid to think about.

That hot-mic moment was a great insight in how much of a senile fruitcake their brains already are.

I'm continually annoyed how much people go along with such idiotic leaders, especially since not having enough information is not an excuse anymore. But I guess most of them are the same.

Let's IPO SpaceX!

And that fund is always the poster child when it comes to managing oil wealth.
Gell-Mann Amnesia effect reveals them to be idiots I guess.

Good luck competing there with some banks even passing through overnight rates to accounts now.

It's a bit against the vibe here, but I am ambivalent about the role of Open Source. To compete against e.g. AWS one needs a lot of price margin for marketing spend. And being Open Source is a guarantee for having minimal market power. Good for customers but not good for the marketing budget.

Yeah, there was not a single establishment person with the stomach to give him (a classy) middle finger in a public live setting.

Guess those kinds of positions select for people without spine.

They want us to pay them bribes, not buy weapons

Maybe the military will refuse the orders? They should if only out of self-interest.

And he doesn't even have popular support for this as well, which facists usually have.

What are they complaining about? Instead of "37 dolls" they can have "three dolls or four dolls" ?

I propose helicopter shitting.

Current tech doesn't scale to AGI and one cannot predict fundamental research outcomes. So the middle line it is and everything else is wild speculation.

Usually investment in fundamental research is done via donations or as a recruiting tool. Idk why currently it is different.

Yeah, this is a large strategic plunder by China (vs. divide and conquer).

It's like with the McDonalds food and the ugly hats. With the gold toilets he is signalling that he belongs to the working class /s

Your point is good, but maybe you could improve the example. LLMs (language models) are not good at doing calculations. The way to approach this is to ask the LLM for e.g. a Python program to calculate the result, then run that.
I think teaching this limitation would be possible.

I wouldn't say so. It is simply a bet that they'll have the customers that pay for the infrastructure.

Traditionally, HPC isn't profitable. And super-computers at top500.org go down the list (depreciate) really fast.

GPGPU accelerates some tasks and some not, so you can see it sometimes.

As someone having to work with other people misusing this new tool I'd very much appreciate if someone taught how to NOT use the tool.

For example don't use it if you are not okay with it telling you something wrong.

For example using it for brainstorming, as inspiration is okay.

But what about Hunter Biden and Burisma! Drain the swamp!

Also, I hope they are aware of the problem that people will stop buying electric cars now if they don't announce soon that it will apply retroactively.

Spiegel reports it is 3 billion € till 2029. Is that enough?

Nowadays they wouldn't have a problem. They'd just sell to people buying the dip

A dutch disease case where the sector taking up all the oxigen also has a large probability of being malinvestment.

Usually (natural resource extraction) they have lower risk and more predictable income.

Worst case (complete malinvestment) you have a war economy effect like currently in Russia.

Seems like Denmarks switch to SAMP/T wasn't entirely voluntary.

What an idiotic strategy.
