They can sign them any time, whether the window is closed or not. It’s the registration that has to wait for the window to be open. So not worth worrying about either way.

Those singles were not all released in any one single country as far as I know. Different ones in different combinations in different countries.

Best description I heard of it was that it’s like a Cubist version of the blues. Stuff you recognise everywhere but not where you expect them, coming at you in strange places and from unexpected angles. All of it adding new layers of meaning (and fun)!
