Absolute incompetence is the only redeeming quality of the Trump Administration.

Think how much damage they could do if they had any idea what they were doing.

Having publicly declared that "smart people don't support me," Trump is doing everything he can to ensure that future Americans will be as dumb as possible.

Meanwhile, Trump appointed John Clayton to head the "investigations" he ordered.

John Clayton is a acolyte and former employee of Apollo Global Management founder and Trump ally Leon Black. Black paid Epstein over $170 million and later paid a $60 million fine for his actions on Epstein's island.

Pretty much sums it up, only need to add that he's giving them the top-of-the-line F-35's even though giving them to Saudi Arabia means that China will have complete access to reverse engineer and devise countermeasures.

Perhaps @gavinnewsom.bsky.social should declare Greg Abbott a terrorist, or maybe the whole Texas GOP.

After all, if governors can randomly designate people as terrorists with no supporting evidence, why not run with it?

The problem is that he's not "acting guilty." He is guilty.

Guess who decides what materials need to be held back? Trump's toadies at DOJ. Guess who gets to verify that the withheld materials really are about those cases rather than about Trump? ABSOLTELY NO ONE outside of Trump's toadies.

Meanwhile, he has also appointed someone with long, deep ties to Epstein's inner circle as prosecutor for the Epstein investigations he just ordered.
November 19, 2025 at 10:30 PM
I put the odds of Trump actually turning over all of the files to Congress at nearly zero.

Most likely scenario is that Trump's DOJ declares that they can turn them over due to ongoing investigations (that Trump just has ordered). In second place is DOJ only turns over selected documents.
November 19, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Nope. Trump has plans in place to circumvent the law, which includes multiple exemptions, including one for protecting information used "ongoing investigations" and for protecting innocent individuals.

Trump ordered Bondi to open multiple investigations and will have her redact his name.
November 19, 2025 at 12:01 AM
You forgot to add: ...or will Bondi/Patel declare that the files cannot be released despite the bill because of "ongoing investigations."
November 18, 2025 at 11:54 PM
To be more accurate, the post should have read that "A federal court just barred Texas from using its new congressional map, which was drawn to disenfranchise people of color in order to increase the number of Republican seats."

We clearly disagree about Alt National Park Service, a group that I believe has been doing great work in getting information out.
November 18, 2025 at 1:56 PM
FYI: The Situation Room is a SCIF. Not only are cell phones, or any other electronics, not allowed in, they would not work if they were brought in. By bringing Bondi and Patel into a SCIF, Trump could be certain that there was zero record of what was said or agreed.
November 18, 2025 at 2:32 AM
Those watching closely will recall that before Trump declared that he wants Republicans to support the measure to release the Epstein files he held a meeting with Bondi and Patel in the Situation Room.

In that meeting, he almost certainly received their assurances that they could block any law.

There should be dozens, if not hundreds, of such arrests every day. ICE is not behaving like law enforcement. They are behaving like a lawless militia that ignores the law and the US Constitution as the harass and abuse Americans -- and then lie about it in legal documents and in court.
