Closing the air space of a foreign country is an act of war.

We are now at war with Venezuela and the War Powers Act has been triggered.

How low we have sunk as a country. The US Department of Defense is now run by a rabid war criminal.

Ordering the execution of helpless survivors of an attack is ALWAYS a war crime, whether they civilian or military.

Pure, mindless, barbarism.

Trump is pardoning yet another major drug trafficker. I've lost count of the number he has already pardoned, including some of the most largest and most dangerous drug traffickers in American history. This time around, it is a foreign dictator. Trump loves dictators.

Whenever I see photos of Trump's Oval Office, I am reminded of the goose that lays golden eggs from the "Jack and the Beanstalk" story. That goose evidently flew around the Oval Office while it had explosive diarrhea.

Overall reporting on Lakanwal and the history of his presence in the USA has been deeply disappointing and uninformed. So, here's a reminder about the history of US allies from Afghanistan who were paroled into the USA in 2021 and what it means for the case of Rahmanullah Lakanwal:

Do absolutely everything correctly and 'by the book' -- including arriving on the correct valid visa, paying the fees, doing all the paperwork -- and Trump's goons will arrest foreign-born spouses during their LPR interview.

Cruelty is the point.

“It is clear that Witkoff fully favors the Russians. He cannot be trusted to lead these negotiations. Would a Russian paid agent do less than he? He should be fired."

While defending Witless Witkoff's decision to coach Putin, Trump declared that Witkoff's job is to "sell Ukraine to Russia."

That pretty much confirms what I've been thinking. Trump is hoping for some big payment--maybe a gaudy Trump Tower Moscow--from Putin to helping him.

The testimony and evidence that the Trump Administration submitted to the Supreme Court with their request of an emergency ruling allowing Trump to deploy the National Guard in Chicago is riddled with errors and outright lies.

Anyone surprised?

The official legal rationale for Trump's campaign of murdering civilians on the high seas is that the US is acting on behalf of allies such as Columbia and Mexico that have confidentially asked for US assistance in stopping armed attacks by drug gangs.

Question: Did either country actually ask?

Decisions have consequences. Noem ordered the removal of a Coast Guard rescue helicopter from Newport, OR, to make room for a big ICE jail on the facility. Removing the helicopter means the Coast Guard has zero ability to effect rapid rescues boaters, fishing crews, or other persons in distress.

Trump's pardon of those who tried to overturn the 2020 election is so broad it appears to cover EVERY American who committed voted fraud. A man in Florida who voted twice (both for Trump) is citing Trump's sweeping pardon and asking that his case be closed.

The fact that the FBI is now launching an investigation into sitting members of Congress because they accurately quoted US law proves that Trump has replaced the rule of law with with rule of petty vengeance.

The Trump Admin just green-lighted two pesticides that will put tens of millions of pounds of toxic 'forever chemicals' into our food supply, soil, and ground water.

It is worth remembering that under the UCMJ and US federal law, military orders that are ALWAYS illegal include for a commanding officer to order military personnel to:

- Target civilians intentionally.

- Suppress lawful protests in violation of First Amendment rights.

While the dismissal of charges is both expected and welcome news, it nonetheless highlights a more serious problem: the Trump Administration continually violates the law, leaving the courts in the position of playing "whack a mole" and they can't hit them all.
