As one Massachusetts school administrator recently said; this moment with AI is remarkably like the moment when we were introduced to asbestos. Yes, it had some remarkably promising characteristics – fireproofing! – and had some real utility in science, research, and industrial applications. But a profit-driven industry bullied us into inserting it everywhere; into our homes and schools and public spaces, before we really understood the risks. This resulted in decades, if not centuries, of illness, injuries, deaths, and the astronomical financial burden of trying to remove the stuff. As you, the leaders and policymakers in our schools, craft an AI policy for our district, we the undersigned call on you to: 1. Ban AI tools into the classroom, protect our students and teachers from de-skilling and allow them the space and time to engage in assignments themselves. 2. Resist any direct financial relationship or contracts with AI providers, as well as the “training” they might offer. 3. Provide a digital literacy curriculum to help students navigate the current digital landscape, and promote critical engagement with technology. 4. Guarantee that anywhere generative AI has already entered our classrooms or curriculum, an opt-out will allow students and teachers to refuse the use of these products at no risk to their grades, progress or employment.

Thought about a little reminder. Things are going slower and way more bumpy then I anticipated 🥺💜

I had to reschedule my driving lessons for third time, but I still hope to be ready for final exam around mid december

Idefinite hiatus (sorry) Hi! I’m so sorry, but I have to put streaming on shelf for some time. I don’t know for how long. TL;DR: It’s mostly because of lack of time and my mental health state. I need to tackle a lot of things in my life and later I want to focus on helping get Pop back to proper health, art and reconnecting with friends Now let me be a little dramatic here: I’m afraid that my current being on and off with streams, starts to look like attention seeking, while I am just trying my best to keep all things going. What’s more - I mentioned that, but for some time I struggle to feel like a person and get terrible freezes, which is affecting my work performance. Brain fog makes using other languages complicated and that is crippling my ability to keep up with friendships. Which is already hard due to timezones and living on other side of globe. Im also not really happy with my current streaming setup. With little time I have I can barely mend it here and there, and it feels like using flipflop to get water out of sinking boat. While I’m not able to show quality that I am aiming for. If there are any stream-tech fluent friends willing to help with this later, I’ll be in your debt. In general despite trying to keep up, I’m feeling disconnected from streaming stage and not happy with it’s current state. It’s meant with no offence to anyone, just feels like too many things is out of my reach at the moment and I don’t know how to change that. Like party moved to other room, but no one told you where. So it also makes me feel kinda lonely I might need some time, but please don’t forget about me. I might stream here and there on occasion and I will be happy to collab or simply hangout If you’re my supporter - I cannot express my gratitude for helping me make my dreams true and I hope to see you when things will get better and cheer you with proper energy

Whole body pains, brain is fried but I made it through first hour of driving practice. I got straight up on the road, first time ever behind wheel 😭
But at least I made my instructor laugh with my screams on every turns and comments on other drivers having audacity to be on the road today 🫠

I cant believe Im saying that, but I actually like Liam Hemsworth as witcher. And promo photos did not gave him justice. He's bit less rough and growly than Cavill but I like that, makes him more nuanced and interesting.
