Thank you - as co-author and/or lead author of 6 of the "Scientists' warnings" papers including World Scientists' Warning of a Climate Emergency," I have to say this would've gravely disappointed my parents of that noble WWII generation. And then some. They brought us up to create a better society.

How do we keep the tiller steady on a crowded planet of nearly 8.2 billion people increasingly isolated from Nature and this exquisite planet - all of whom deserve enough to have a satisfying life of wellbeing, but many of whom expect and demand more?

Yep, we accept 'doomers' in this group and acknowledge the massive challenges of overshoot, but we're not nihilists and won't tolerate too much of that, fyi!
