That’s what medical racism looks like. It’s completely avoidable deaths, complications, pain, and anxiety.

It’s being in horrific pain and deciding that it’s worth a 3 hour drive to have it handled in a hospital in a much more Black city.

Unfortunately, laboring patients don’t have that luxury.
