Sotomayor's dissent is basically the plaintiff's brief. It hits all the notes.

So at least it will be preserved in the record that not *everybody* on SCOTUS was as bigot during the Fascist 20s.

For generations, transgender people have faced efforts to erase us from public life — and every one of them has failed. This is no different.

We’ve always been here, and we’re not going anywhere, no matter what the courts say. Count on it.

Our cases against President Trump on behalf of trans people can continue. We will not back down from the fight for trans health care and for trans people’s dignity and freedom.

Exactly. Ugh what an utterly wretched aspect of Swedish society. It's a long term goal of mine to write a collection of short stories about my experiences. I probably shouldn't have nuked my twitter because so much was documented there, but lol I hate Space Karen.

Agreed. And we'll truly never know how many deaths were preventable if an already sick patient hadn't gotten infected. It was disgusting so many people rallied behind 'they would have died anyway' while also spreading FHMs anti-mask propaganda. Only to have Tegnell walk back so much in hindsight.

I'm thankful we survived ❤️ I'm also back to being the only one in the hospital wearing a mask (the few times i go). It's still so uncomfortable no one masks in the cancer building, but I'm used to the stares. I feel sorry these fragile patients were never taught how to protect themselves.

I remember so clearly going for several of my post-breast cancer examinations (in the 5 year window) during the worst covid waves BEFORE family quarantine rec. and BEFORE vaccines. I can't describe the horror of seeing fragile cancer patients unmasked, doctors/nurses unmasked, relatives unmasked.
