They are an empath

for reference, I've always wanted a terraria mod that adds more miscellaneous vanilla+ stuff, like the ore spears mod
I was particularly interested in adding upgrade paths for vanilla weapons like the waterbolt

I would call the character about 50% done, still need a few more aerial normals and a few more specials
also theres only one ground super but its a charge so at the least it covers meter usage, its hard to combo into rn tho

and besides learning some stuff, Godot got a pretty huge update recently.. so I really do look forwards to finishing up this project and shelfing it for a bit to go back to normal gamedev stuff! I need to finish that game pretty soon tbh

third of all: I might be pretty decent at programming?
not gonna lie, Ivy sly is awesome, I mean they made an indie fighting game and that will always be impressive, but some of their decisions BAFFLE me
like they use strings for a bunch of number stuff
I do NOT understand why, maybe thers a reason

WHY have I not been using EXPORTS FOR SOUND EFFECTS????
this works a THOUSSAAAAND times better
I feel kinda stupid, it makes me wonder how many other things I could've been exporting 😭

first of all: animating
I think this little project is the most animating I've EVER done and I have to say, I'm a little proud of my growth rate! I've learned a lot about actually putting things I've heard into practice!
It's been a lot of fun

so at the end of the day, I'll just ignore it
to be honest I think I forgot at some point that I value art for reasons besides how it looks, ai will never replace me cause people like my art not just because of how it looks, but also who drew it
at least I think, maybe, idk
